SEN Teaching Assistant

Affinity Workforce Solutions are looking for an eperienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a local village Primary school.

We offer flexible working, so whether you’re looking for full time or part time work we have opportunities for you. Working on supply at the Trust can lead to securing a permanent position.

Previous qualifications for this role is not required but we are looking for people with experience of dealing with challenging behaviours in children and providing them the support needed to thrive within an education setting.

Hours- 08:30-15:30- term time only

Pay between £415-£470 per week

What do I need to apply for the role?

• Previous SEN experience
• Experience of setting up equipment and helping to prepare the classroom for lessons, tidying up afterwards and helping with displays
• Providing support to children who need additional help with their work
• Helping pupils develop independent learning skills, manage their own learning and prioritise their time
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to children who need it
• Listening to children read
